Pauline Florence Maillet, 75 years old, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 12, 2023. Originally from Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Émile and Yvonne (Gaudet) Ouellet.

She is survived by her husband Robert and her daughter Isabelle (Chris), as well as several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins and friends.

Having lived on Archibald Street for the majority of her life, her heart truly belonged to Parlee Beach. She was always happier with her feet in the sand. Artistic by nature, she loved to do crafts, sew and especially paint. She loved to create unique and memorable Christmas decorations. She had a big heart and welcomed all the kids in the neighborhood after school. As leader of the Jeannettes at the Christ-Roi parish for several years, she has had an impact on many young people in the region. Multi-passionate, she always had a head full of projects and surrounded herself with people who shared her energy.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of the Intensive Care Unit of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC for the excellent care given to Pauline.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Friday from 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton on Saturday December 16 at 11 am. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Pauline, a contribution to MS Canada (Multiple Sclerosis Canada) would be appreciated.
