It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victorine Brun (Vautour) at the age of 81, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Ulric and Dométhilde Vautour.

Before her passing, she enjoyed playing Bingo, cards and spending time with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her four daughters: Marie Thibodeau (Robert) of Grand-Barachois, Rose Brun (Bernie Richard) of Petit-Cap, Jeanne Landers (Anthony) of Truro, NS. and Diane Brun (Mike Kelly) of Cap-Pelé; two sons: Danny (Gisèle) of Bas-Cap-Pelé and Paul Vautour (Norma) of Grand-Barachois; a daughter-in-law Gail Brun of Cap-Pelé; three sisters: Thérèse LeBlanc of Kitchener ON, Camilla Melanson (Léonard) of Cap-Pelé, and Marie-Jeanne Duguay of Cap-Pelé; one brother Emery Vautour (Eda) of Bas-Cap-Pelé; 15 grandchildren: Bobby, Amy, Ricky, Jolyne, Dani, Shawn, Travis, Venessa, Mark, Jesse, Brandon, Justin, Amber, Jessica, and Shane; 14 great grandchildren: Keisha, Thomas, Bradley, Taylor, Nixon, Miguel, Liah, Chloe, Austen, Austin, Jaxx, Aliyah, Jaden, and Lara as well as several nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her late husband, Clovis Brun, two sons: Roger and infant Robert, a great grandchild Lucas and two sisters: Geneva Duguay and Juliette Brun and three brothers: Aurel, Camille and Azor.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Wednesday, December 13 from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C. Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé at 2 pm.

In memory of Victorine, a contribution to Boîte à lunch would be appreciated.
