Patricia "Pittie" (Green) Léger, 74, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday December 3, 2023 at the Pavilion Landry of Faubourg du Mascaret. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Anna (LeBlanc) Green.

Patsy was a social butterfly who loved to be with family and friends, and would have given the shirt off her back to help people in need. She volunteered with the Moncton Boys and Girls Club and Moncton Headstart for many years. She also loved playing cards, and bingo with her sisters, to making puzzles the last few years with her childhood friend, Reg.

She is survived by two children: Denise Léger (Bertrand "Bert") of Moncton and Michael Green (Shila) of Saint John; her precious granddaughter, Gabrielle, who had a special place in her heart; three sisters: Marie-Rose Evers (late Albert) of Moncton, Alice Melanson (late Camile) and Gloria Babineau (Raymond), both of Dieppe; as well as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one sister, Betty; and two brothers: James "Jim" and Richard.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday December 7 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Thursday from 10 am until time of funeral. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Patricia, a contribution to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Atlantic (www.rmhcatlantic.ca) would be appreciated.
