It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Doiron, 73, who passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital (Palliative Care Unit), surrounded by his loving family & friends, on Thursday, November 30th, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Cap-Pelé, he was a triplet, son of the late Lionel and late Anita (Cormier) Doiron.

Joseph worked as a construction/concrete worker for many years. He was a caring and compassionate man with a good sense of humour. Before his illness, he enjoyed hunting & fishing. His family was very important to him, and he always thought of others before himself.

He will be remembered by his loving wife, Diane Doiron of 47 years, his daughter Sonia Doiron and son-in-law, Marc Blanchard, whom he was so proud, of Dieppe and his precious grand-daughter Adèle, whom he loved and cherished deeply; his siblings : Juliette Leblanc (late Léonce) of Shediac, his triplet Anne-Marie Babineau (late Aldoria) of Cap-Pelé, Roméo Doiron (late Alfreda) of Cap-Pelé, and Roland Doiron of Cap-Pelé; his brothers-in-law: Jean-Marie Vienneau of Shediac, Joseph Goguen of Cap-Pelé, and Norbert Vienneau of Shediac, as well as his nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Arthur Doiron (late Léonie), Edmond Doiron (late Gisèle); his sisters: Thérèse Vienneau (Jean-Marie), Gilberte Goguen (Joseph), and his other triplet, Marie Vienneau (Norbert) and two nephews: Marcel Leblanc and Marc Jacob.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, on Thursday, December 7th from 7 pm to 9 pm and Friday, December 8th from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm.
