Stella Marie Van Buskirk, 90, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2023, at the Villa du Repos, Moncton. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Amanda (DesRoches) Melanson. She was the last surviving member of her family.

She is survived by her children: Emma Lee Arsenault (Gérald) of Cocagne, John St Pierre (Elizabeth) and Terry St Pierre all of Moncton; her grandchildren: Sylvie Steele, Patrick Arsenault, Marc Arsenault, Jeremie St Pierre, and Jenna McWilliam.

She was predeceased by her husband, Georges and her siblings: Marie Babineau, Bertha Melanson and Bertin.

As per Stella’s request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.

In memory of Stella, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (506 858-1900).
