Jean-Bernard "Red" Boudreau, 78, of Shediac, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 14, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Léandre and late Yvonne (Gaudet) Boudreau.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Murielle (Cormier) Boudreau of Shediac; one son, Serge (Gisèle) of Shediac; three daughters: Ginette Robinson (Shane) of Cormier-Village, Dorine Robichaud (René) of Haute-Aboujagane, and Lise Keenan (Rodney) of Dieppe; three brothers: Paul, Valmond (Florence), and Léandre "Red" (Jocelyne) all of Shediac; two sisters: Adrienne Boudreau (Arsène) of Boudreau-Ouest and Dorilla Hébert (Normand) of Shediac; one brother in-law, Richard LeBlanc of Shediac; seven grandchildren: Randy, Cynthia, Brian, Joel, Nadia, Cedric, and Audrey; one great-grandson, Simon, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Red was predeceased by a brother, Alonzo, and a sister, Bernadette LeBlanc.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) on Monday October 23rd form 9:45 am to 10:45 am only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on Monday October 23rd at 11 am. Interment will be in the Frenette Columbarium, Shediac.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the St-Joseph cemetery, Shediac or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
