Rosaire LeBlanc, 79, of Irishtown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born in Saint-Antoine, he was the son of the late Albert and Exelda (Cormier) LeBlanc.

Before his retirement, Rosaire was a teacher at École Mathieu-Martin and in Memramcook.

He is survived by his special friend, Madeleine Dubé; two children: Sophie (Patrice Gagnon) of L’Assomption, Québec, and François of Dieppe; two grandchildren: Xavier and Claire; one sister, Maria Goble (late Norman) of Moncton; as well as his nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Claire Gallant (2017).

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Rosaire on Friday October 20 at 3 pm from Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900). Visiting hours are Friday from 2 pm until the celebration of life. In memory of Rosaire, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation would be appreciated.
