Mathias LeBlanc died at his residence, Castel Des Flots Bleus, in Cap-Pelé, on Wednesday October 11, 2023. He was the son of the late Joseph and Dométhilde (Cormier) LeBlanc. He is the last member of his family.

He leaves to mourn his four children: Marcel, Michel, Monique LeBlanc (Lionel) all from Cap-Pelé and Maria LeBlanc (David) from Shediac Cape; four grandchildren: Jessica, Joshua, Randy and Josée; a great-granddaughter, Zoé as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Marie-Mai LeBlanc (2021) and a son, Maurice, five sisters: Sara, Marie-Blanche, Yvonne, Mathilde and Florida; nine brothers: Didace, Arthur, Dismas, Dosithée, Edgar, Ligouri, Tilmon, Aimée and Patrick.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Center, Cap-Pelé, on Sunday, October 15 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Monday, October 16 from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. The funeral will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila Church, 2648 chemin Acadie, Cap-Pelé, on Monday at 10:30 a.m.

In memory of Mathias, a contribution to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
