It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Léger, 50, of Shediac on Wednesday October 4, 2023 at the Moncton Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Jeannette Léger (Caissie) of Moncton and the late Gilles Léger (2005).

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Sophie Belliveau-Léger; two sons: Simon and Gabriel at home; a sister, Charline Léger (Diane) of Halifax, NS; one brother, Marc (Rémi) of Moncton; one niece, Jennifer; two nephews: Mackenzie and Nicholas; mother in-law, Cécile Belliveau (late Donat) of Shediac; two brothers in-law: Rémi (Cindy) of Scoudouc and François (Isabelle) of Dieppe, as well as many cousins and friends.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) on Sunday October 8 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Monday October 9 from 9:30 am until time of departure (10:30 am). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Jacques-le-Majeur R.C. Church, 3091 route 132, Scoudouc on Monday October 9 at 11 am. Interment will be in Frenette Columbarium, Shediac.

In memory of Charles, a contribution to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital (Palliative Care) or Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre would be appreciated.
