Dora Boudreau, 95, of Shediac and formerly of Haute-Aboujagane, passed away at the Villa Providence, Shediac on Saturday September 23, 2023. Born in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Lina (Vienneau) Thibodeau.
She is survived by five daughters: Monette LeBlanc (Gérald) of Shediac Cape, Joanne Gallant (Léonard) of Grand-Barachois, Pauline Goguen (Marcel) of St-André, Berthe Ryan (Gary) of Bas-Cap-Pelé, and Estelle Mazerolle (late David) of Shediac; six sons: Coral (Juliette), Aumont (Joanne), and Normand (Noëlla) all of Haute-Aboujagane, Hubert of Shediac, Francis (Pauline) of Dieppe, and Bertrand (Monique) of Shediac; a brother, Yvon (Lorette) of Shediac; two sisters-in-law: Claudette Thibodeau of Moncton and Diana Thibodeau of St-Louis; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ola Boudreau (2015); a daughter, Janice; a sister, Lorraine Bourgeois (Mélas); six brothers: Henri (Rita), Gérard (Nora), Roger, Joseph, Lionel, and Aquila; one grandson, Jason Goguen.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) on Monday October 2 form 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday October 3rd from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacré-Coeur R.C. Church, 1356 route 133, Haute-Aboujagane on Tuesday October 3rd at 2 pm. Interment will be in the Sacré-Coeur cemetery in Haute-Aboujagane.
