It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosanna Morrell, 84, of Moncton, on September 5, 2023 at her residence. Born in Minto, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Anna (Richard) Drisdelle.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Michael Morrell (Donald Abbott), and her daughter, Sandra Morrell, both of Toronto, ON; three sisters: Emilia Arsenault (late Laurie), Helen LeBlanc (Lawrence), both of Minto, and Geraldine Wilson (late George) of Moncton; two brothers: Jerry Drisdelle (Cecile) of Moncton and Melvin Drisdelle(Carla) of Minto; one sister-in-law, Judy Drisdelle of Minto; three stepchildren: Debbie Curwin (Greg), Ronnie Richard (Monique), and Wayne Richard, all of Moncton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her longtime partner, Normand Richard; one step-son, Michael Richard; three brothers: Henry Drisdelle, Raymond Drisdelle, and Normand Drisdelle; two brothers-in-law: Laurie Arsenault and George Wilson.

The family would like to thank Dr. Nathalie Sheehan and her team along with the extra-mural nurses for their excellent care.  A special thank you to Brenda Madore, her niece and her husband John, and her brother Jerry and wife Cecile, for taking care of her personal needs.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday September 13 at 3 pm. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 1 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be at Saint Bridget's Cemetery in Hardwood Ridge, N.B.  In memory of Rosanna, a donation to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
