François "Frank" Bastarache, 72, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday September 6, 2023 at his residence. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Martin and Imelda (Gauvin) Bastarache.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pauline née Roy; one son, Frankie (Sherri) of Moncton; one grandaughter, Harlie; four sisters: Albina Thériault (George), Maria Last (Curtis), Rose Rioux (Denis), and Bernice Christiaens (Lowrence); four brothers: John, Paul, Edmond, and Henri; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four sisters: Melina, Lucille, Thérèse, and Mary Ann; one brother, Tilmond.

A graveside service will be held at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe on Friday September 29 at 2 pm. In memory of Frank, a contribution to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
