Dorina Martin, 96, formerly of Baie-Sainte-Anne, passed away on Wednesday August 30, 2023 at the Villa Maria in Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late Phillias and Rosanne (Caissie) Cormier.

Dorina is survived by seven children: Roger Martin (Germaine), Simone McIntyre (Marc), Marcel Martin, Bernadette Martin, Jeanne Martin, Etienne Martin, and Rosa Pellerin (Valerie); two sons-in-law: Hamid Nasrallah and Arthur Gallant; 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Aldéric (feu Thérèse); as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Conrad Martin; six daughters: Diane Martin (Guillaume DeBrouwer), Aurèlie Nasrallah, Céline Gallant, Yolande Martin, Thérèse Martin, and Évangéline Martin; two sisters: Rita McCaie and Alida Babineau; and eight brothers: Emile, Wilfred, Gérard, Joseph, Lionel, Régis, Marcel, and Fidèle.

Dorina's family would like to thank and highlight the excellent care and support of Villa Maria employees during the last months of her life; and the Résidence du Marais in Dieppe, where she resided for five years.

We also want to thank Joanne and Candide for their great support and all the visits to our mother.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday September 2 at 12 pm noon. Visiting hours are Saturday from 10 am until time of funeral. The funeral service will be streamed live; to view the funeral, go to her obituary on Frenette Website. Interment will be at Baie-Sainte-Anne parish cemetery. In memory of Dorina, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society or food bank would be appreciated.
