Hectorine Gaudet, 95, of Cormier-Village, passed away on Saturday August 26, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Cormier-Village, she was the daughter of the late Alphée and Mélanie (Boudreau) Vienneau.
Hectorine loved spending time down by the river fishing and cooking.
She will be sadly missed by her three children: Donald of Cormier-Village, Francine Cormier (Jacques) of Saint-André-LeBlanc, and Gisèle Gaudet (Odule Goguen) of Cormier-Village; twin sister, Huberte LeBlanc (late Laurie) of Quispamsis; two grandchildren: Mélanie (Ricky) and Stéphanie; three great-grandchildren: Marco, Miguel, and Madyson; Antonio and Tyler were two boys that was special to her and their mom, Leidy; special pet, Meeko, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Henri Gaudet (2018); sister, Dorothy Arsenault (late Eddy); half-brothers and half-sister: Anna Liljemark, Henri Vienneau, Albert Vienneau, Camille Vienneau, and Léandre Vienneau.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday September 1 at 2 pm. Visiting hours are Friday September 1 from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm. In memory of Hectorine, a contribution to the education of her three great-grandchildren would be appreciated.
