It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Robert Breau, 64, of Shediac Bridge on Friday August 11, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and daughter after a short battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Antoine and late Yvette (Babineau) Breau.

Robert worked for Mobile readymix formerly known as Lafarge.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janice; a daughter, Jocelyne of Fredericton; a brother, Roger Babineau (Anne) of Shediac; a sister, Hélène Bourgeois (Ronald) of Dieppe; a mother in-law, Joan Gauvin of Dieppe; a brother in-law, Ben Gauvin (Caroline) of Notre-Dame; as well as five nieces, one nephew, and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude towards the doctors and nurses of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC (oncology department) and Extra Mural staff for the wonderful care provided to Robert.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) Sunday August 20, 2023 from 1 to 4 pm only. In memory of Robert, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society or donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
