Robert Vautour, 75, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday August 5, 2023 at his residence. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Alfred and late Corinne (Gallant) Vautour.
Prior to his retirement,
Robert worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was also a fireman for
the town of Shediac from 1980 to 2001.
He is
survived by his two children: Chantal Vautour (Jody Perry) of Moncton
and Paul (Nadine) of Shediac; seven siblings: Béatrice
Copping of Shediac, Camile "Bee" of Shediac, Yvette Vautour
(Maurice LeBlanc) of Shediac, Patsy Bourque (Henri) of Scoudouc,
Donald of Shediac, Edgar of Calgary, and Michelle Flemming (Robert) of
Shediac; three grandchildren: Sebastian, Amirah, and Bodhi; a special
friend, Cécile Picard, as well as many nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife,
Patricia "Patsy" born Lirette (2005) and a brother,
Paul.
The family will receive condolences at
Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506)
532-3297 on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 9:30 am until
time of departure (10:15 am). The funeral mass will be
celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac, on
Thursday August 10, 2023 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish
cemetery.
In memory of Robert, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Heart) or M.-F.-B. Breakfast would be appreciated.
