Georges Thériault, 78, of Moncton, passed away on Friday July 28, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Laurier and Laudia (Haché) Thériault.

Georges was the co-owner of Deluxe Restaurant. A very kind and honest person, he loved to play cards on a Friday night and have an occasional drink of Crown Royal. Georges loved movies and a quiet night with Phyllis relaxing on the porch, and loved to tell Dad jokes. Love you!

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Phyllis (Cormier); one daughter, Michelle Thériault (Terry LeBlanc) of Moncton; one son, Serge (Nancy) of Dieppe; four grandchildren: Corey, Renelle, Dominique, and Monica; one sister, Raymonde Charette (Roland) of Dieppe; two brothers: Roger (late Sandra) and Robert (Jeannette), both of Shediac Bridge; two sisters-in-law: Lise Thériault of Shediac and Pauline Thériault of Saint John; one brother-in-law, Guy Cormier (Eva) of Montréal, QC; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Lorraine Mazerolle; and two brothers: Paul and Marc.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday August 3 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. Interment will be at Frenette Columbarium. In memory of Georges, a contribution to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
