Yvette Cormier, 73, of Shediac, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday July 21, 2023, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. "Pauley" and Hélène (Gallant) Martin.
She is survived by husband, Hervé Cormier of Shediac; her children: Janice Boudreau (late André) of Boudreau Ouest, Guy (Paula Babineau) of Shediac, Marc (Monique) of Shediac, Mike (Lisa) of Grand-Barachois, Richard (Kathleen) of Winnipeg, MB, and Sherry Cormier (Kevin Léger); her siblings: Claudette Martin (late Jackie), Yvon, Bing (Prémilia), Johnny (Gisèle), and Canou (Diane) all of Shediac; her 17 grandchildren; 22 great-randchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sons: Hervé and Terry; two brothers: Jack and Paul "Boy"; one half-brother, "Boy".
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506) 532-3297 on Tuesday July 25, 2023 from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Wednesday July 26, 2023 from 9:15 am until time of departure (10:15 am). The funeral will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac, on Wednesday July 26, 2023 at 10:30 am.
In memory of Yvette, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) would be appreciated.
