Léonard Legere, 81, of Shediac, passed away on Tuesday July 4, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in St-Paul, NB, he was the son of the late Zephir and Mélia (Leger) Legere.
Prior to his retirement, Léonard worked in construction. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 33 in Shediac. He enjoyed spending time at his camp, "La Camp à Léonard", which was a gathering place for family and friends.
He is survived by his three children: Carol Cormier (André) of St. Philippe, Gerald Cormier of Cocagne, and Peggy Leger of Moncton; one brother, Roméo (Pat) of Windsor, NS, as well as his nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Julien and one sister, Diana Falck.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
