Emile Jr. Goguen, 76, of Castel des Flots Bleus in Cap-Pelé, passed away on Thursday June 29, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Emile and Rosalie (Cormier) Goguen.

He is survived by his sister, Jeannette White of Moncton; five nieces: Tina Goguen of Moncton, Connie Vautour of Tennessee, Paula Goguen of Moncton, Nancy Goguen of Maine, and Bonnie Cormier of Edmonton, AB; five nephews: Derek Goguen, Randy Goguen, Mike Fougere and Troy Goguen, all of Moncton, and Vincent Fougere of Grande-Digue; as well as his cousins and friends.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Vautour); and four brothers: Eric, Paul, Donald, and Roger.

By request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A private graveside service will take place at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Emile, a contribution to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900).
