Lorraine LeBlanc, 77, of Shemogue, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday June 27, 2023 at her residence. Born in Saint-Pierre-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Adelin and Marie (Allain) Melanson.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; two children: Lynn Boudreau (Daniel) of Portage and Danny (Paula Gaudet) of Grand-Barachois; one sister, Stella Allain (late Edouard) of Bouctouche and Normand Melanson (Elise) of Moncton; four grandchildren: Jérémie (Josée), Julie, Justin, and Janie, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters: Doris LeBlanc, Rosella Cormier, and Huberte Maillet.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (506-577-3297) on Monday July 3 from 7 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday July 4 from 1 pm to 1:45pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C, Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Tuesday July 4 at 2 pm. The funeral will be recorded, and the video will be available on Lorraine’s obituary on our website at the end of the day. Interment will be in the Saint-Timothee cemetery, Shemogue.
