Maxine Patricia Patriquin, 70, of Moncton, passed away on May 20, 2023. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Mac and Madeline (Hosking) Patriquin.

Maxine earned her B.A. and B.F.A. from Mount Allison University and her M.A. from Mount Saint Vincent University. She has been a gallery artist, a French teacher, a Via Rail porter, and a telemarketer. She loved cats and birds, reading, videogames, and astrology. She strongly believed in the link between science and the solar lunar cycles, and their effects on humanity. This witty, artistic woman will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Oliver Resk; her sister, Doris Patriquin-King; and her beloved nephew, Jordan King.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In memory of Maxine, a contribution to the Lung Association or People for Animal Wellbeing (PAW) would be appreciated. Interment will be in Londonderry NS. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900).
