Edmond "Eddy" Cormier, 77, of Shediac, NB,
passed away on Saturday June 10th, 2023, at his
residence. Born in Richibucto, he was the son of the late Alice
Cormier.
Edmond’s life was full of love. He loved
his work, loved his music even more, and most of all loved his two
sons. He was well known across New Brunswick as a great musician and
to have started the first rock and roll band in Shediac, starting at
the age of 14.
He is survived by his son, Kaine Cormier of Victoria,
BC; three sisters: Thérèse Comeau (Marcel) of
Shediac Bridge, Laura Steeves (Robert) and Marilyn Cormier all of
Shediac; one brother, Francis Cormier (Denis) of
Edmundston.
He also has a beloved aunt, Yvonne Bourque of
Shediac; uncle, Andy Cormier of Shediac; cousin, Joseph Cormier of
Shediac. All of whom were as close as brothers and sisters that formed
his immediate family; as well as his very special friend and extended
family, Jeanita Garton of
Cap-Pelé.
Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his former
wife and mother of his children, Dale Peconi (2017) and his beloved
son, Justin Cormier (2017).
The family will receive condolences at Frenette

where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday June
16th at 2:00 p.m. Visiting hours are Friday
