Following complications from a brief illness, Lauren Stacey LeBlanc, 75, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Friday May 26, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Lionel Gordon Fillmore born in Moncton and Iris Sydney Donguines born in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Lauren was a kind and generous person who loved life, her nieces and nephews, all animals and flowers. She enjoyed travelling and discovering new places.  As a long time, paralegal secretary with the firm of Ellsworth Johnson Michaud, she was dedicated to her work. Lauren will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ronald C. LeBlanc; five sisters and one brother: Leslie Matheson (Alan) of St. George, NB, Lana Gould (Brian) of St. Andrews, NB, Beverley of Ottawa, ON, Shelley, Kimberly and Kenneth (Gisèle), all of Moncton; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Terry Parsley of Alberta.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation and no public funeral service. In memory of Lauren, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation or the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
