It is with great sadness that we announce the passing
of Mr. Albert T. LeBlanc of Cap-Pelé, on Sunday May
21st 2023, at the age of 94 years old
and 4 months, at his home, surrounded by his loving wife and family
following a lengthy illness. Born in Portage, NB, he was the son of
the late Thaddée LeBlanc and the late Annie LeBlanc
(LeBlanc).
From a young age, he left to work in Labrador and the
Northwest Territories. He then returned to the Moncton area to work
for Modern Construction and the Department of Transportation as
highway supervisor until his retirement.
Albert was a strong and proud man that was always ready
to help. He enjoyed hunting, was an excellent gardener and
passionately followed hockey, especially the Montreal Canadiens. His
kindness will be greatly remembered by his family and
friends.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Alma
LeBlanc (Cormier); his daughter Pierrette LeBlanc Cormier (Gilles
Cormier to whom he loved as a son) of Dieppe; his sister-in-law,
Lillian Osborne (late Roy) of Cap-Pelé; three grandchildren
whom he adored, Kristina, Isabelle, and Xavier, as well as many
special nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was the last
surviving member of his immediate family.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his
siblings: Elizabeth, Adrienne, Julie, Marie, Adrice, Louis and
Guy.
We would like to thank Dr. Jules Melanson, the medical
and para-medical staff of the extra-mural Shediac unit, as well as Mr.
Benoit Landry for their wonderful care. We would also like to thank
Albert’s caring friends for their daily
support.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral
and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, on
Wednesday May 31, 2023 from 7 to 9 PM only. The funeral mass will be
celebrated at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C.
Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Thursday, June
1st at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in

Foundation (oncology) or to a charity of the donor’s choice
is appreciated.
