Félice "Phyllis" Cormier, 77, of Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday May 10, 2023 at the Hospice SENB Albert House in Moncton. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Ulysse and Régina (Belliveau) Roy.

She is survived by her daughter, Paulette LeBlanc (Bill) of Laguna Vista, Texas, and her son, Richard (Valeriia) Cormier of Lucerne, Switzerland; four grandchildren: Christina, Kyle, Justin, and James; one great-grandson, Timothy; two sisters: Rachel Gallant (Tony) of Melbourne, FL, and Annette DeMichele (late Richard "Dickie") of Hudson, MA; two brothers: Norman (Lucille) of Dieppe, and Guy (Majella) of Sainte-Marie; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul (2018); and one grandson, Travis Cormier.

Félice moved to Massachusetts in 1963, met the love of her life, Paul.  Moved back home to Canada in 1976, worked part-time at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital maternity ward until she retired.  Traveled with friends and got to visit many places due to her children not staying put in one place for too long….British Columbia, California, Vegas, Florida, Massachusetts, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Texas and Hawaii.  Summers camping in Bouctouche formed life-long friendships and such wonderful memories for her, Paul and her children.

She loved 50’s & 60’s oldies being the first and last one on the dance floor dancing - "jiving".  She relaxed by doing housework and ironing EVERYTHING. Her home sparkled just like she did, like the stars up in heaven. She will be fondly remembered for her love to laugh amongst friends and family, always appreciating a good joke.  A best friend to everyone and a caring, loving Mom.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, May 18 at 4 pm. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be in Frenette Columbarium. In memory of Félice, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be appreciated.
