Clorice Melanson, 77, of Mount Middleton, NB, passed away on Tuesday May 9, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Napoléon W. and late Dina (Richard) Melanson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary (Barker) Melanson; four daughters: Joanne Melanson of Bouctouche, Carrie Foster (Dwayne Campbell) of Mississauga, ON, Katie Melanson (Aaron Kittle) of Brampton, ON, and Dina Melanson (Aaron Rouse) of Sussex; two sisters: Freda Bay (Bill) of Bedford, NS, and Linda Comeau (Armand) of Dixon Point; six brothers: Yvon (Denise) of Moncton, Emile (Annette) of Shediac, Calixte (Bertha) of Cormier Village, Arthur (Monique) of Pointe-du-Chêne, Louis (Sharon) of Calgary, AB, and Jean (Norma) of Grimshaw, AB; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday August 18 at 2 pm. Visiting hours are Friday from 1 pm until time of funeral service.
In memory of Clorice, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
