Annette Gallant, 70, of Shediac and formerly of Grand-Barachois, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday May 3, 2023 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Yvon and Laura (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Annette enjoyed caring for children and elderly’s, she loved music and playing Bingo with her friends. She will be sadly missed by many.
She is survived by her husband, Hector of Grand-Barachois; a daughter, Tanya Gallant (Sam) of Scoudouc; two sisters: Rita LeBlanc (Valmond) of Trois-Ruisseaux and Linda LeBlanc (Pierre Caissie) of Grande-Digue; a brother, Marcel LeBlanc of Shediac; a nephew, Mario LeBlanc (Annelle) of Scoudouc, as well as a great-nephew, Gabriel.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the Villa Providence in Shediac for their excellent care provided to Annette.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday May 10 at 2 pm. Visiting hours are on Tuesday May 9 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. Interment will be St-Henri de Barachois cemetery in Grand-Barachois. In memory of Annette, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation would be appreciated.
