Juliette Brun, 89, of Shediac and formerly of Grand-Barachois, passed away on Sunday April 30, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Bas-Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Ulric and Dométhilde (Cormier) Vautour.
She is survived by her six children: Thérèse Léger (Yves), Eddie (Suzanne), and Fernand (Joceline) all of Grand-Barachois, Ginette Boudreau (Yvon), Francis (Lisa), and Ernest (Rolande) all of Shediac; four sisters: Camilla (Léonard), Marie-Jeanne, and Victorine (late Clovis) all of Bas-Cap-Pelé and Thérèse of Ontario; one brother, Émerie (Ida) of Bas-Cap-Pelé; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Léandre Brun (2003); one sister: Geneva Duguay; three brothers: Aurèle, Azor, and Camille.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday May 4 at 11 am. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. Interment will be St-Henri de Barachois cemetery in Grand-Barachois. In memory of Juliette, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation would be appreciated.
