Cyrilla (Jean) Boudreau passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at the age of 92, at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born in Grand-Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Cyrille and Marguerite (Gaudet) Boudreau.

She is survived by her four children: Murielle, Jeanette (François), Raymond (Lise), and Danielle (Vittorio); brother, Rev. P. Louis-Joseph Boudreau; four grandchildren: Geoff, Laurence (Guillaume), Dominique (Julien), and Giulia; four great-grandchildren: Margaux, Inès, Nolan, and Lorix. All our gratitude to Alcide Melanson who was her great friend for more than 30 years.

Besides her late husband, Arthur Boudreau (1983), she was predeceased by her brother, Ligouri (2003), and her sister, Dorine (2018).

Our most sincere thanks to the staff of the Villa Providence, and in particular to La Colombe unit, for their care during her stay.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri de Barachois R.C. Church, 1356 Route 133, Grand-Barachois on August 17, 2023 at 11 am. Interment will be in the St-Joseph cemetery in Shediac. In memory of Cyrilla, a contribution to the Villa Providence Foundation, Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
