Marcella Jacob, 61, of Trois-Ruisseaux, passed away on Monday March 27, 2022. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Léo and Enna (Melanson) Jacob.

Marcella was a very dependable worker at Elfege & Norbert. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who cared deeply for her grandchildren. She was always there to lend a helping hand and she loved to spoil her grandchildren. She will be missed tremendously by her daughters, grandchildren, family, and friends.

She is survived by her two daughters: Brandi Lirette (Luc) of Grand-Barachois and Brittany Campbell (Samuel Boucher) of Sackville; six brothers and sisters: Eudore (Nicole), Valois, Mauril, Valérie (Glenda), Marcel, and Rosella Bourque (late Robert); four grandchildren: Caleb, Eve, Austin, and Jesse, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Garnet; three brothers: Hilaire, Eric, and Francis.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. In memory of Marcella, a contribution to the Pépère Boîte à Lunch (Grand-Barachois) or Marshview Middle School Food Program (Kandice Cann, 19 Queens Road, Sackville NB E4L 4G4 (506-364-4086)   would be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Cap-Pelé (506-577-3297).
