It is with great sadness that we announce the passing
of Claudette Vautour nee LeBlanc, wife of the late Azor Vautour, at
the age of 84 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC on Sunday March 26,
2023. Born in Petit-Cap, she was the daughter of the late
Alfred and Rita
(Donelle) LeBlanc.
She is survived by her five children: Regis (Thérèse), Guy (Noella), Hélène, Denise, and Ginette (Richard) all of Cap-Pelé; one brother, Charles LeBlanc (Maria) of Cap-Pelé; one sister, Clémentine Hébert (Georges) de Shediac; 10 grandchildren: Marise, Mario, Nadine, Lyne, Nicholas, Isabelle, Nathalie, Joshua, Karine, and Véronik; eight great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Allyson, Alexi, Mylène, Evan, Lexi, Niko, and Liam; one great-great-granddaughter, Rylyn, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a son, Eric; an infant brother, Roger; a brother, Roger (15 years old); four sisters: Florine, Mai, Alfreda, and Norma.
A big thanks to the staff of the CHU Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont for the care during her stay.
By request, there will be no visitation at the funeral centre. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, on Saturday April 1st at 10:30 am. Interment will be in parish cemetery. In memory of Claudette, a contribution to CHU Dumont Foundation would be appreciated.
