Camilla Royer, 84,
passed away at Villa Providence Shediac, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
Born in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late
Léonard and Élise (Duguay)
St-Pierre.
She taught for 10
years in Cap-Pelé. A mother, she was also involved as a
Scout leader, in the Golden Age and Christian Woman Club of
Cap-Pelé. She also enjoyed gardening among her flowers,
playing darts and bowling, and birdwatching with her late husband,
Francis.
She is survived by her
three children: Michel (Maria Vittoria Mambrini) of Italy, Maurice of
Toronto, and Lynne Royer-Zammit of Grand-Barachois, one granddaughter
Alisha; one brother, Arsène of Cap-Pelé and two
sisters: Élodie of Cap-Pelé and Nora of Moncton
and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by
her brothers and sisters: Murielle, Francis, Léonard and
Léonide.
The family will
receive condolences at the Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 chemin
Acadie Cap-Pelé on Tuesday March 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. and
Wednesday March 29 from 1 to 1:45 p.m. The funeral will be celebrated
in Ste-Thérèse-d'Avila Church at 2
p.m.
In memory of Camilla,
a contribution to the NB Diabetic Association would be
appreciated.
