Clémence "Clem" Auffrey, 94, of Moncton, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC on Friday March 17, 2023. Born in Scoudouc, she was the daughter of the late Lucien and Elodie (Melanson) Belliveau.

Clem’s most cherished times was having family over for suppers and barbecues. She enjoyed her summers at the family cottage in Scoudouc and always having beautiful gardens. She was very active. Her favourite hobbies were bowling, darts, cards, loved taking long walks and enjoyed nature. She was a great cook, loved baking and enjoyed sharing it with family and friends.

Clem will be dearly missed by her son, Roland (Patsy) of Campbellton; three daughters: Francine Belliveau of Moncton, Janice Belliveau (Guy) of Dieppe, and Gisèle Dickson (Peter) of Moncton; five grandchildren: Danie, Cristine, Luc, Devin, and Dominique; four great-grandchildren: Zachery, Annabelle, Maxim, and Lauren; two sisters: Marie Bourque (late Yvon) and Jeannine Bourque (late Ronald); her sisters-in-law: Irma Belliveau (late Camille) and Anita Auffrey (late Georges); as well as her nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Francis "Frank" (September 2022); her sister, Lucienne; and her brothers: Paul, Achille, and Camille.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Manoir Notre-Dame for their compassion and the care provided during her stay at the home.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date in Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur cemetery in Scoudouc. In memory of Clémence, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
