Viola Collette, 90, formerly of Acadieville, passed away on Thursday March 16, 2023 at the Foyer Assomption in Rogersville. Born in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Délia (Bastarache) Doiron.

She is survived by four children: Kathy Randall (late Paul), Ronnie (Kim), Jim (Jacqueline), and Lori Doiron (Maurice); eight grandchildren: Chad, Krystle, Deidra, James, Ashley, Julie, Sarah, and Jennifer; many great-grandchildren; two brothers: Yvon (late Annie) and Laurent "Lorenzo" (Thérèse); as well as many nieces, and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Emile (2022); one son, Steve; one granddaughter, Tiffany; two sisters: Georgina and Oliva; and three brothers: Alonzo, Rodolphe, and Henri.

The family will receive condolences at the Immaculée-Conception Church slumber room, 4049 Route 480, Acadieville, where the funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday March 21 at 3:30 pm. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 10 am to noon and 2 pm until time of funeral. The funeral mass will be videotaped, and the video will be available on her obituary on Frenette website at the end of the day. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Viola, a contribution to the Foyer Assomption (palliative care room) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
