Henri Ouellette, 90, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Monday March 13, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC.  Born in Petit-Cap, he was the son of the late Amand and Marguerite (Arsenault) Ouellette.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lorraine (Bourque) Ouellette; three children: Rosella Cormier (Valerie), Ronnie Ouellette (Rose), and Charline LeBlanc (Adrice) all of Petit-Cap; three brothers: Oscar (Levina) of Bas-Cap-Pelé, Amand (Elaine) of Grand-Barachois, and Norbert Brun (Claudette) of Shediac; one sister, Marie Mai Duguay (Billy) of Shediac; two sisters in-law: Gilberte Ouellette of Petit-Cap and Thérèse Brun of Cap-Pelé; one brother in-law, Paul Melanson of Petit-Cap; four grandchildren: Lise (Marc), Olivia, Crystale (David), and Samuel (Renelle); three great-grandchildren: Jase, Anabelle, and Cora, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sons: Donald and infant son, Yvon; nine siblings:  Hermance Richard, Germaine Doiron, Huberte Cyr, Jeannette Leger, Marguerite Melanson, Francis Ouellette, Laurie Ouellette, Jean Brun, and Napoléon Brun.

There will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C. church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, on Monday March 20 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the St-Thimothée cemetery, Shemogue. In memory of Henri, a contribution to the Cap-Pelé Knights of Columbus Lunch Box would be appreciated.
