Wilmon Thériault, 86, of Moncton and formerly of
Waltham, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday February 27, 2023,
surrounded by his loved ones at his residence. Born in St-Basile, he
was the son of the late Lionel and Marthe (Jalbert)
Thériault.
Prior to his retirement, Wilmon was a mason by trade with an
incredible work ethic who gave his time and talent to those around
him. He was a kind, generous and compassionate person who always put
the needs of others before his own. He loved nature and going on
walks, and enjoyed having coffee with his coffee buddies. His greatest
joy was spending time with family and friends and telling stories
about his life adventures. He was always present and his love was a
gift, and he will be truly missed and forever in our
hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Claudette (Gagnon-Leahy); his
daughter, Judy Thériault (Elphège Brideau) of
Moncton; his son, Wayne Thériault (Kara Hallett) of
Warwick, RI; three step-children: John Leahy (Brenda) of Jacksonville,
FL; Tom Leahy (Ann) of Tolland, CT, and Karen Kenny (Scott) of
Holbrook, MA; three grandchildren: Nicholas, Ryan, and Alexander;

and Joseph; four sisters: Germaine Caron (late Guilmon) of Madawaska,
ME, Hilda Morency (Claude), Thelma Courcelle (late Louis), and Rita
Bouchard (late Jean-Paul), all of Edmundston; four brothers: Guy (late
Noëlla), Jacques (Marie-Line), and Michel (Norma), all of
St-Basile, and Hervé (Marguerite) of St-Jacques; one
sister-in-law, Doreen Thériault (late Fernand) of
Edmundston; one brother-in-law, Rino Picard (late Nicole) of
Edmundston; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Fernand.
