Sister Lorraine d’Entremont (Philippe-Marie), ndsc, passed away following a short illness on Sunday February 26, 2023 at the Motherhouse of the Religieuses de Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur in Moncton. She was 88 years old and in the 69th year of her religious life. Born in Pubnico-West, NS, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Régina (d’Entremont) d’Entremont.
Besides her religious family, she is survived by one sister, Anne d’Entremont (late Blaise) of Pubnico, NS; one brother, Normand (Marcella d’Éon) of Pubnico, NS; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by six sisters: Floretta, Rosella, Jeannine, Clarisse, Mariette, and infant Elizabeth; as well as one brother, Ronald.
The funeral mass by invitation only for Sister Lorraine will be celebrated in the chapel of the Motherhouse of the Religieuses de Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, 125 King Street, Moncton on Wednesday March 1st at 10 am. There will be no visiting hours. Face covering is mandatory for the private funeral. The funeral mass will be streamed live and may be viewed on her obituary at www.frenettefuneralhome.com where condolences may also be sent. Interment will be in Memramcook.
