Ginette Bourque, 76, of Cocagne and formerly of Québec, QC, passed away on Tuesday February 21, 2023 at her residence. Born in Windsor, QC, she was the daughter of the late Hervé Bourque and Jeanne Fredette.

Ginette was an acupuncturist at the Maison de santé in Cocagne.

She is survived by her twin sister, Pierrette Bourque of St-Denis-du-Lac-Brompton, QC; three brothers: Jean-Jacques (Rita Éon) of Montréal, Richard (Marguerite Inangorore) of Sherbrooke, QC, and Luc (Jeannette Cormier) of Grand-Bouctouche, NB; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her great friend, Rolande Légère.

The family will receive condolences at Saint-Pierre R.C. church slumber room, 2000 Route 115, Cocagne, where the funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 25 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Saturday from 9 am until time of funeral. There will also be visiting hours at Centre funéraire La Souvenance, 9255 boulevard de l’Ormière, Québec, QC, on Wednesday March 1st from 9 to 11 am until time of celebration at 11 am. Interment will be at La Souvenance cemetery in Québec, QC. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Ginette, a contribution to the Village des Sources en Acadie or to a food bank would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
