Bernard Goguen, 80, of Dieppe, passed away suddenly on
Friday, February 3, 2023 at his residence. Born in Cocagne, he was the
son of the late Omer and the late Edmée (Caissie)
Goguen.
He worked for NB Liquor for over 31 years where he got to
know many faces but rarely their names. After his retirement, his
passion became spending time with his grandchildren whom he loved very
much. As many people know, Bernie loved to tease the ones he
loved. His nieces, nephews and grandchildren could tell many
stories of his endless shenanigans.
Bernard is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 55
years, Marguerite (née) Léger; his two sons:
Serge (Claudine) of Dieppe and Gilles (Donna) of Grande-Digue; his
five grandchildren: Josée, Martin, André, Justin
and Jacob; his sister, Gilberte LeBlanc (Aris) of Cocagne; his three
brothers: Gilles (late Fernande "Fern"), Roland (Phyllis)
both of Dieppe and Bertrand (Irène) of Moncton;
sisters-in-law Angela Léger (Paul-Émile) and
Jeannine Savoie (late Agapit); his brother-in-law Antoine
Léger (Hortance) and as well as many nieces, nephews and
friends. He is also survived by his very special friends: Elizabeth,
Claudette, Brenda and Ronald who were like brother and sisters to
him.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister,
Rolande (late Léo-Paul Landry), sister-in-law Germaine
(late Guy Boucher) and brother-in-law Valmond
Léger.
