Hector Hébert of Haute-Aboujagane, passed away at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the age of 85. Born in St-André-LeBlanc, he was the son of the late Léandre and Azile (Bourque) Hébert.

Prior to his retirement, Hector worked in construction for many years, and was very active and hardworking.  His family, which he loved very much, always came first. He had a passion for snowmobiling, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Georgette (LeBlanc); a daughter, Sonya Hébert from Grand-Barachois, and a son, André Hébert (Leanne Langis-Hébert) from Haute-Aboujagane; three grandchildren: Janie, Félix and Sébastien; two sisters: Adrienne Babineau of Shediac and Eléanor LeBlanc of Cap-Pelé.

He was predeceased by an infant sister, and two infant brothers.

As per the family’s wishes, a private ceremony will be held in his memory. In memory of Hector, a contribution to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
