Gloria Jessulat, 90, of Shediac and formerly of Notre-Dame, passed away on Thursday January 12, 2023 at the Hospice SENB Albert House. Born in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and Alice (Cormier) Poirier.

She is survived by four children: John "Jack", Debbie Porelle (Louis), Darlene Després (Marc), and Cathy Arsenault (Glen); 10 grandchildren: Rachelle, Charles, Crystal, Marcel, Stéphanie, Scott, Martine, Ryan, Alexandre, and Jennifer; five great-grandchildren; sister in law, Gemma; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was predeceased by six sisters: Aurore, Eleanor, Jeannine, Geneva, Angenette, and Diana; five brothers: Alonzo, Arthur, Jean-Paul, Guy, and infant Raymond.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A graveside service will take place in the Spring at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur cemetery in Notre-Dame. In memory of Gloria, a contribution to the Hospice SENB Albert House would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
