Joseph "John" Leger CD, 96, of Shediac, passed away on Friday December 23, 2022, at the Veterans Health Centre in Moncton. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Joseph and Viola (Mooney) Leger.
Retired from the RCAF as Chief Warrant Officer, having served for 35 years.
He is survived by his children: Marcelle Leger of Shediac and Paul of Hampton, N.B.; one sister, Violette Bourque (late Roger) of Dieppe; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Thérèse (Boudreau) Leger and a brother: Léo-Paul.
A private funeral service will be held at later date. Interment will be in the St-Joseph cemetery in Shediac. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
