Gilles Joseph Rioux, 62, of Moncton, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 19, 2022. Born in Edmundston, he was the son of the late Camille and Maria (Thériault) Rioux.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Claude Rioux (Gaëtane) of Shediac, Francine Picard (Robert) of Edmundston, Marcelle Bossé (Raoul) of St-Basile, and Pierre Rioux of Edmundston; nieces and nephews: Stéphane, Patrick, Michel, Dominique, and Caroline.

He is predeceased by his parents and a sister, Carmen Fortin.

Burial will take place in the spring of 2023 at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Edmundston.

In memory of Gilles, a contribution to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
