Dorine Arsenault, 89, of Dieppe, wife of the late Ernest Arsenault, passed away on Monday December 12th, 2022 after a brief illness.  Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Maximin Léger and late Irène (Landry) Léger.

She is survived by her children: Joanne Brown (Ralph Stevens) of Riverview, Terry Arsenault of Halifax, NS, Diane Denis (Charles Léger) of Haute-Aboujagane, and Charlie Arsenault (Natasha) of Moncton.  She will also be missed by her beloved grandchildren: Marcel Denis (Jenny Frost) of Moncton, Danielle Denis (Christian Landry) of Dieppe, Rohan Lynds-Arsenault (Kehani Lynds) of Brisbane, Australia, and her step-grandchildren: Naiomi, Connor, Jill and Reece Petersen.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her only sibling, George Léger.

Dorine was an amazing mother and grandma. She had a kind and generous heart, and she passed that love and caring to all of us.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always happy when she could join her friends at the bingo hall.  She will be remembered as a loving and caring woman who always had a smile whenever she was with those she loved.  She was the best mom for us kids, and an even better Mémére to her grandkids.  We were all truly blessed to have her in our lives.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Hubert Dupuis for his care and kindness as well as the staff of the Extra Mural Hospital, especially Donna as well as the staff at the Auberge du Soleil in Dieppe.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday December 17 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Saturday from 10 am until the time of the funeral. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe.  Dorine, who was also very fond of her furry grandpets, would’ve appreciated any donations be made to CARMA Cat Rescue, Moncton Chapter in her memory.
