Sister Rose-Aimée Cormier (Marie-Aimée), ndsc, passed away following a lengthy illness on Tuesday November 22, 2022 at the Motherhouse of the Religieuses de Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur in Moncton. She was 91 years old and in the 74th year of her religious life. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Élise (Breau) Cormier.
Besides her religious family, she is survived by one sister, Sr. Lorraine Cormier ndsc of Moncton, as well as her nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by five sisters: Dorice, Marie, Hélène, Sr Lydia ndsc and Zélia; and eight brothers: Éric, Émile, Edmond, Aurèle, Father Noël, Father Clarence, Laurie and one infant brother.
Sister Rose-Aimée will be resting in the chapel of the Motherhouse of the Religieuses de Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur in Moncton where the funeral mass by invitation only will be celebrated on Friday November 25 at 9:30 am. Visiting hours by invitation are Friday from 8 am until time of funeral. Face covering is mandatory for the private funeral. The funeral mass will be streamed live and may be viewed on her obituary at www.frenettefuneralhome.com where condolences may also be sent. Interment will be in Memramcook.
