It is with deep sadness that the family of Rose Marie Ferlatte, daughter of the late Ernest and Blanche (Harrison) Ferlatte, announces her passing on November 21st, 2022 at Hospice SENB (Albert House) in Moncton.

Rose Marie is survived by her son Yves Goudreau (his wife Marie Allard); Yves’ daughter Marie-Hélène LeBlanc-Goudreau (great-grandchildren Hayden and Logan); Marie's children: Daniella LeBlanc (great-grandchildren Zéphyra, Esteban, Tiago) and Julien LeBlanc; her daughter Chantal Goudreau (partner Calvin Roberts); Chantal’s children: Jennifer McCleary (husband Greg) and Aleksandre Goudreau-Rocca; her brothers: Georges (Gertrude), André and Jean-Marie (Carmen); as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by the father of her children, Gérald; her former son-in-law, Silvio Rocca; and her siblings: Georgette, Yolande and Paul.

On behalf of Rose Marie & her family, we would like to express heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the staff at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC for the care and compassion during her many hospital stays during this past year. As well, Rose Marie’s family would also like to send their appreciation to the staff and her friends at the Oasis Residence for their care, support and kindness.

Finally, a special thank you to the incredible loving staff at the Hospice SENB (Albert House) in Moncton; your kindness, compassion and love was felt by Rose Marie (and her family) during this last part of her earth life journey. Because of the wonderful volunteers and staff at Hospice SENB (Albert House), we were able to peacefully help our mother transition in peace and surrounded by those she loves.

A ceremony to celebrate her life and legacy will take place at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Sunday, November 27. Visiting hours are Sunday from 1 to 3 pm with a sharing of memories at 2 pm where her son Yves, her eldest grandchild Jenny, and her daughter Chantal will each share a personal message about Rose Marie. Interment will be at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges parish cemetery in Campbellton.

In Rose Marie’s honour, we ask that you do a random act of kindness. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Hospice SENB (Albert House).
