Viola Parsons, 88, of Moncton, passed away on Saturday November 19, 2022 at The Moncton Hospital.  Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Mallet) Collette.

Viola loved to play bingo and cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by six children: Terry LeBlanc (Carol), Linda Williams (Vic), Annette LeBlanc, Cecile Caissie (Hector), Paul LeBlanc (Carolyn) and Ginette Leger (Mike); 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert (Doris); and many nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by Bill’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Ola LeBlanc; her second husband, William Parsons; one infant daughter, Paulette; one sister, Mabel; and two brothers: Aurèle and Gérald.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard’s Church, 43 Botsford Street, Moncton on Friday November 25 at 9:30 am. Interment will be at Bay View Cemetery in Albert County. In memory of Viola, a contribution to Nazareth House or Harvest House would be appreciated.
