Camilla Ouellette, 87,
wife of the late Philip Ouellette of Petit-Cap, passed away on
Thursday, November 17th, 2022, surrounded by
her loving family at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in
Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Camille and
Locade (Bastarache) Doiron.
She was a
schoolteacher for 10 years and secretary for Philip Ouellette
& Sons Ltd for many years afterwards. Camilla was a loving
mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her grandchildren, great
grandchildren and quilting a lot.
She is survived by her
children: Marcel (Annette) and Roland (Joanne) both of Petit-Cap; her
siblings: Lorette Pellerin (Edgar) of Shediac, Ola (Lorette) and
Rhéal (Magella) both of Cap-Pelé; a
sister-in-law, Claire Doiron, son-in-law, Pierre Landry; four
grandchildren: Marc (Kendry), Serge (Annick), Sophie (Guillaume), and
Rémi (Amélie); six great
grandchildren.
She was predeceased by
her husband, Philip (2010), an infant daughter Lise (1969), daughter
Ginette Landry (2014), brother, Alphée (1984),
sister-in-law Jeannita (2007).
The family will
receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642
Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Sunday, November
20th from 2 pm to 4 pm
only.
The funeral will be
celebrated at the Ste-Thérèse-D’Avila
R. C. Church, 2648 Acadie Rd., Cap-Pelé on Monday, November
21st at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the
St-Timothée cemetery in Shemogue.
The
archdiocese recommends wearing face covering for entering and leaving
the church.
In memory of Camilla,
a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the
Pépère Boîte à lunch would
be appreciated.
