Maureen Lemay, 82, of Shediac, passed away on Friday, November 4th, 2022. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy (Chapman) O’Brien.

She was retired from NAV Canada / Transport Canada.

She is survived by her children: Stephen (Cathy) of Moncton, David (Michelle) of Shediac Bridge, and Marc (Chantal) of Chelsea QC; five grandchildren: Annick, Justin, Martin, Gabriel, and Christopher.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was predeceased by her brother Ernest O’Brien and her two sisters: Charlene O’Brien and Judy Fairfax.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette’s Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Tuesday, November 15th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. The funeral will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy church, 11 St. Andrew Street, Pointe-du-Chêne at 11:00 a.m. Internment at the Our Lady of Calvary cemetery.

In memory of Maureen, a contribution to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
